In Kevin Corrols article he writes he describes creativity to him as the ability to have the eyes of a child. This was one of my faivor things that he had to say. It brought me back to when i was a kid and how much i used to do with my imagination. I used to be able to go out into my back yard and just sit and make up different situations or games. My friends and i would be able to create different games that we would play over and over again. I was talking to one of my friends the other day. We started talking about a game we played when we were children. We used to pretend that we were in a boarding school but there was always a teacher that didn’t like us. That teacher would always end up finding us and putting us in a jail like place we used to call it where no one would come and get us for hours, until the dog would come to save us. They were the only thing that could see us to get us out of this jail. To the rest of the world we were just two girls siting in her front yard having a fun time. To us we were in a whole different place. If you look like you were a child you can see so many different things. We need to bring this into are every day life’s and just have fun with are tasks. If we have fun with it we might come out with better papers, projects, ideas. You never know until you try it.
Another topic that Kevin Corrols goes into about creativity is to become great at it you need to put the work into it. Just like an athlete dose to become great at their sport. The athlete needs to work hard practice every day. Put the time and effected into their work to come out with a win or be proud of themselves. This is the same with are creavity we need to practice it and open our minds to what we can accomplish. If we practice every day we will become better. Why else would an athlete run day after ran but to get to the finish line first in the end. We must work hard to come up with the best ideas that we have to become the best we can do.
